Chosing Imaginary
We chose to make Story Outline number 1, as in our survery research we noticed a link between the answers of the survey and the storyline of number 1- Imaginary. For example, our survey suggested that our target audience from both the local area and the wider public would prefer to see a female protagonist and a male antagonist; Imaginary fit this criteria better than story outline 2 and this was a contributing factor in our decision making process. To contribute to this one of the questions in our survey was also asking about plot line and violence, the majority of the audience suggested that the violence should be kept to a minimum which fits with the suggested violence in story line 1, and when asked about plot line the audience also decided that plot line 1 would be more suited for this project. The theme of domestic abuse is also something that we are keen to explore and therefore were swayed more to choosing this storyline as it gives us a chance to raise awareness for this sensitive topic.
